PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester film which uses the recovered waste film effectively, has a flat surface, is excellent in adhesion and electromagnetic characteristics, and is useful for a magnetic recording medium, etc. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the adhesive laminated polyester film comprising a polyester layer (A) of 2-15μm in thickness, a polyester layers (B) of 0.01μm or below in surface roughness Ra and 0.1-13μm in thickness which are laminated on both sides of the layer (A) by a co-extrusion method, and an adhesive resin layer (C) which is coated with the aqueous solution of a polyester of 40-160 deg.C in secondary transition point and formed at least on one side of the layer (B), the layer (A) and the layer (B) are biaxially oriented, and the layer (C) is oriented at least uniaxially. The laminated polyester film is crashed, and the recovered chips obtained by melt-extrusion are used as a raw material for extruding the layer (A).
