PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens grinding device capable of eliminating the cover cleaning work as a labor other than the operation related to the lens grinding. SOLUTION: This lens grinding device is provided with a working chamber 4 for grinding glass lenses, a slide cover 5 for opening and closing the working chamber 4, and a scraper 17a positioned in a downstream side opening edge part in the cover opening direction inside of the working chamber 4 and to be brought in contact with a back surface 5a of the cover 5 so as to scrape the adhesive material such as grinding chips G and water drops W adhered to the back surface 5a.
