PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a user performs short-time centrifugation such a case that liquid droplets stuck to the wall of a test tube to fall to the bottom of the test tube a centrifuge which has a pulse switch and can be rotated only during the pulse switch is pushed is convenient, but such a centrifuge requires long time for pushing the pulse switch and accordingly, has low operability, when the centrifuge provided with a rotor whose acceleration of rotation requires comparatively long time. SOLUTION: In this centrifuge having a pulse switch 11, when the pushing time of the pulse switch 11 is within a prescribed range, the rotation of a rotor 3 is automatically accelerated to a preset rotational speed, and when the pushing time is outside the prescribed range, the rotation of the rotor 3 is continued only during the time when the pulse switch 11 is pushed, in the same manner as the conventional operation.
