PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a simple production process of video scopes by simplifying the structure of a light guide. SOLUTION: First and second LED light sources 51 and 52 are provided in a video processor 40. First and second light guides 21 and 22 are provided in a video scope 10. The base end parts of the first and second light guides 21 and 22 are made to face the first and second LED light sources 51 and 52. Illumination light emitted from the first and second LED light sources 51 and 52 is guided to the tip of the video scope 10 through the first and second light guides 21 and 22. The reflected light from a part to be observed is received by an image sensor 24 provided at the tip of the video scope 10. The quantity of emission of the first and second LED light sources 51 and 52 is controlled independently of each other based on the quantity of light data obtained through the light receiving (the image) sensor 24.
