PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pack cosmetic method for solving such drawbacks as lacking in oily component supply and being unusable conveniently while making the best use of such merits inherent in algepack as smooth removability and environmental friendliness. SOLUTION: This pack cosmetic method comprises the following practice: a pack cosmetic containing an oily component is incorporated with alginic acid and/or a soluble salt thereof and the resultant pack cosmetic is solidified with a solidifying composition containing a water-soluble salt of calcium dissolved therein, and the resultant solidified film is then peeled off.
