PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thrown cloths into a next process while making the distal ends into a linear shape without applying an excessive tension to the cloths. SOLUTION: A suction nozzle 21 is set to the cloths M in order to eliminate a deflection on the cloths M, which is generated between holding points (16 and 17), so that the cloths M may be lifted by sucking at an area between the holding points, and one section of the weight may be shared. Also, a guiding means 30 which guides the cloths M in a manner to come into contact with the suction nozzle 21, is set toward the cloths M. Then, a switching means which switches whether the sucking action by the suction nozzle 21 is made effective or not is provided. The switching means is switched at approximately the same time as the cloths M are brought into contact with the suction nozzle 21 by the guiding means 30, and thus, the cloths M can be sucked by the suction nozzle 21.
