Paint brushes and rollers are cleaned by a process involving direct drive of the brush or roller in a rotary movement. A paint brush 104 is modified by the provision of a drive bit 202 received in a cavity in its handle. The bit may be removable or permanently secured in place. A paint roller 801 is supported for rotation by apparatus comprising conical members 802, 809 threaded on a drive shaft 804. Rollers of different internal diameters can thereby be accommodated. |
