PURPOSE: A steering column mounting device for a vehicle is provided to simplify the shock absorbing structure of the plates between a mounting bracket and capsules and carry out the shock absorbing gradually. CONSTITUTION: A steering column mounting device for a vehicle includes a mounting bracket(30) connected to an outer tube of a steering column and formed with connection parts(33) closely contacting to a vehicle body, capsules(40) detachably coupled with the connection parts and fixed to the vehicle body, plates(50) connecting the capsules to the mounting bracket for buffering the shock when the steering column is retracting and formed with movement holes(52), and bolts(60) formed with a reducing width fixed to the mounting bracket to be inserted into the movement holes of the plates for gradually moving.
