PURPOSE: A system of supplying a mobile phone service is provided to simultaneously transmit a call to a mobile phone terminal and a terminal when connecting the call to a subscriber who is registered in a mobile phone service providing system, so as to enable the call by transmitting the call to the terminal even when the subscriber is out of a call coverage. CONSTITUTION: An MSC(10) exchanges information with an HLR(20), a VLR(30), and a TLR(Terminal Location Register)(40) storing subscriber information, and interfaces with a BSC(Base Station Controller)(50) to transceive signals and voice data with a mobile phone terminal(80), then interworks with a VoIP gateway(70) to transceive signals and voice data with a terminal(90). The HLR(20) stores and manages subscriber parameters and location information of the mobile phone terminal(80). The VLR(30) temporarily stores and manages information on the mobile phone terminal(80), then transmits information related to a subscriber to the MSC(10) when a call is set up by the mobile communication subscriber. If a caller sets up a call, the TLR(40) transmits information on the corresponding subscriber to the MSC(10). BTSs(60) perform coding and decoding processes for a wireless channel to transceive wireless signals with the mobile phone terminal(80). The BSC(50) interfaces with the BTSs(60) to perform inter-cell handoff processing, call control, and BTS operation and maintenance control functions. The VoIP gateway(70) converts packet-switched format data into circuit-switched format data to transmit the converted data to the MSC(10), or convert the circuit-switched format data into the packet-switched format data to transmit the converted data to the terminal(90). |
