PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify payment of charges for self print type printing by using a prepaid card. SOLUTION: An image printing system is provided with a mechanism for installing a storage medium having a prepaid function for recording the image data, an indicating means to be used by a user so as to order the print of an image stored in the storage medium, a printing means for printing the image stored in the storage medium, and a control means for inputting the image data recorded in the storage medium for the print by the printing means, in response to the order through the indicating means and for receiving the printing charge. The control means renews the residual prepaid number in the prepaid information of the storage medium, after the indicating means has indicated the print. |
