PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a print output command to a printer with a standby paper feeding stage, not only to a printer having an optimum paper feeding stage when a plurality of printers connected to a network can perform print output. SOLUTION: An image processing system can perform image copy by using an image input unit connected to a network and a remote image output unit for generating image information. The image input unit detects a manuscript image size (S2) and when the manuscript image is read according to the manuscript size and outputted on the image output unit to carry out copy operation, the image input unit acquires paper feed stage information of the remote image output unit. Then, the optimum paper feed cassette stage and the second favorite paper feed cassette stage included in the remoter image output units are calculated and displayed in a selective way (S4, S6, S7, S8) according to the paper feed stage information included in the remote image output unit. The copy operation is carried out by using the remote image output unit having the selected paper feed stage (S11, S12). |
