PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for mounting an electronic component having an emergency stop switch rationally disposed. SOLUTION: The apparatus for mounting the electronic component comprises a plurality of mounting stages of the component. The apparatus further comprises a pushbutton type single emergency stop switch 17 arranged at a center of the same operating surface with an operating direction set upward near control boards 3A and 3B. Thus, the switch 17 can be realized to be rationally disposed with good operability without erroneous operation.
