PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the generation of pile height moire peculiar to an electrophotographic image at a low-frequency region in addition to a conventional moire in a four-color digital screen set. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic system color image-forming device, the difference in the screen angle of three dot patterns corresponding to cyan, magenta, and black toner images is set to an angle range of approximately 25-40 degrees, preferably 30 degrees, by at least one of a half tone generation means (a comparison section 125 and a storage section 126) and a scanning signal formation section 128 in an image treatment section 12. Further, the screen angle of a first dot pattern corresponding to a yellow toner image is made equal to that of a second dot pattern corresponding to either one-colored toner image out of cyan, magenta, and black, and also the phase of the screen of the first dot pattern is allowed to differ from that of the screen of the second dot pattern by approximately 150-210 degrees, preferably approximately 180 degrees.
