PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless display system and a wireless display data processing unit that can surely cope with a transmission channel, the required transmission rate of which cannot be warranted through the fluctuations in the transmission rate depending on a wireless environment. SOLUTION: An event management section 14 manages a display event caused by a CPU 12 of an information processing unit 10 and a wireless communication section 15 transmits the event to a wireless display device 20. A wireless communication section 22 of the display device 20 receives the display event sent from the information processing unit 10. The display event received by the wireless communication section 22 controls a display controller 23 to generate picture data which is displayed on a display section 24. The event management section 14 always grasps a transmission state via the wireless communication section 15, stores the display event when the transmission is not available, awaits the transmission until the transmission state reaches the transmission available state, immediately outputs the received display event to the wireless communication section 15 when the transmission state reaches the transmission available state and the wireless communication section 15 transmits the event to the wireless display device 20.
