PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen for input with an illuminating function, which can be turned on/off in a simple operation without damaging the appearance. SOLUTION: A push bar 10 projected from the rear edge of an axial cylinder 8 is rotated so that an illuminating function can be turned on/off. Moreover, a cap 13 covering the push bar 10 is arranged at the axial cylinder 8.
