PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processor in which processing information concerning image data can be transmitted between processors without spoiling compatibility. SOLUTION: When an image reader 1 reads out an image, an input image correcting section 22 corrects an input image or a color converting section 23 converts a color, a tag setting section 25 sets processing information, e.g. resolution or parameters, as tag information which is then converted at a TIFF converting section 24 into image data of TIFF format being described.
