PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine, an image transmitting method and a control method in which various performances in an image formation of a recipient facsimile machine are recognized as a profile, and image data optimized based on such profile is transmitted. SOLUTION: In a facsimile machine, an image transmitting method and a control method, there are provided read means for reading an image of a copy; transmitting image data generating means for generating transmitting image data in correspondence to a profile of a recipient facsimile machine from read image data read by the read means; and transmitting means for transmitting the transmitting image data to the recipient facsimile machine.
