Shop management information collating method, uses sensors and identification devices to register presence of passing product collection units

Fixed sensors and identification devices (20) are installed in a given number of places inside a shop space (1) or they can be mounted inside or on a number of product collection units (5), so that the presence of a unit close to one of the aforementioned places inside the shop can be detected. Successive locations passed by a production collection unit are recorded and this is used to determine the route taken by a customer pushing or carrying a product collection unit. Independent claims are also included for (1) an information management system used to carry out this method, comprising an identification system and a processing system, and (2) a shop with at least one shop space region designed to work with this information management system.
