PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a battery having superior property, allowing sufficient impregnation of a non-aqueous electrolyte in a space in electrodes or between the electrodes in a short time. SOLUTION: The method comprises sealing a power generating element consisting of a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator and a non- aqueous electrolyte in an exterior member and then applying pressure thereto in a pressure container. The exterior member is a bag exterior film consisting of a laminated film having a metal sheet and a resin film superposed on each other and the generating element consists of the positive electrode to which an external terminal is electrically connected, the negative electrode to which an external terminal is electrically connected, the separator laid between the positive and negative electrodes and the non-aqueous electrolyte, and each of the external terminals is bonded and sealed into the bag exterior film at its thermal seal portion and closely sealed to extend to the outside. |
