PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the phase of a loop by a simple control circuit in a digital transmitter having a feedback path for compensating nonlinear distortion of power amplifier and quadrature demodulator. SOLUTION: In a fixed pattern section in a transmission frame, a modulator input in-phase component (or modulator input quadrature component) corresponding to an input in-phase component (or quadrature component) is input into a phase control circuit via a comparator to detect a phase shift, and information about the phase difference is input into a phase shifter to correct the phase of the carrier wave.
