PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine which can transmit the content of a message to a destination (answer phone) while imaging. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine comprises a speech recognizing section 10 for recognizing the content of answer phone message and converting it into a character code if the destination is absent when it is called by telephone, and an image processing section 11 for imaging the character code in order to transmit an image to the destination.
