The seat back has two adjacent folding backrest areas of different widths, a 3-point safety belt and spool on the wider backrest. The backrests can be joined to the vehicle structure in the in-use positions via outer locking devices, the wider one having an additional locking device adjacent to the narrower one. The additional locking device interacts with a counter area fixed to the body and is locked by the belt spool when the belt is pulled out. The seat back has two folding adjacent backrest areas of different widths for one or at least two seating positions, a three-point safety belt and spool (2) on the wider backrest (1). Both backrest areas can be joined to the vehicle structure in the in-use positions via outer locking devices (3) and the wider one has an additional locking device (4) adjacent to the narrower one.
