The invention relates to medical technology. A flat-topped reservoir (17) for water is arranged inside a chamber (1) of an incubator for intensive care. Microporous filters (19) sputtering and humidifying a gas mixture supplied to the chamber (1) are incorporated into the bottom thereof in such a way that they produce an aerosol. A control unit for a heating system (26) is arranged outside the incubator. A spiral glowing filament (29) is used for the heating system (26), ensuring the heat treatment of the air. In order to prevent an irritative and arousing glare effect and noise penetration, the lateral walls of the chamber (1) are embodied in such a way that they are double-layered. The external layer (23) is made of a dark blue plastic material, and the internal layer is made of a transparent plastic material. A photo-therapeutic unit of the incubator is provided with a source of the blue light spectrum, a blue spectrum filter and a heat filter.
