he vessel should be constructed in such a way that the weight of its construction must be equal to the lifting power provided by the main floats (4) being completely submerged in the sea so that the vessel is marginally immersed up to the point where auxiliary floats (5) and sea surface join. The lifting power of the auxiliary floats (5) is liable to confront the extra load charged on the vessel, while loading. After the loading process is completed, the volume and the weight of the main floats (4) increase or decrease so that the lifting power of same floats balances the vessel with the slightest participation of the auxiliary ones. The geometrical shape of the main floats creates, due to their friction with water, an additional ascending force nullifying the participation of the auxiliary floats in the floating of vessel. In this point, said auxiliary floats contribute, uniquely, to the buoyancy of vessel without forcing the whole construction to follow the waves in order to acquire lifting power serving for buoyancy purposes. In the mooring phase, when the vessel speed is reduced, the auxiliary floats start participating in the buoyancy of the construction; even in this phase, the main floats can be further inflated or deflated so that the vessel draught is reduced to face the problems occurred by the limited depths of the port waters. |
