A vibration control device, wherein a continuous coiled spring (11) fixed at both ends thereof is disposed in a hollow body (10) in the compressed or tensed state, an additional weight (12) is disposed at the intermediate portion of the coiled spring (11), and a spiral groove (12a) for fitting the intermediate portion of the coiled spring (11) therein is provided in the outer peripheral surface of the adding weight (12), whereby, because a slip is hard to occur between the adding weight (12) and the coiled spring (11) and both thereof vibrate integrally with each other, the vibration of a structure can be controlled stably.
