PURPOSE: A disk-type heat exchanger is provided to improve compatibility and facilitate maintenance of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: An inlet pipe(2) and outlet pipe(3) forming flange portions(4) are installed outside a cylindrical outer shell(1). An outer shell cover(5) equipped with an inlet pipe(2a) and an outlet pipe(3a) forming flange portions(4) are installed on a side of the outer shell. A heated plate block with two through holes on the periphery of a metal disk is installed inside the outer shell. An inner passage and an outer passage are formed to the through holes. The heated plate comprises a first heated plate forming an oblique line-shaped uneven unit overall surface with the exception of the edges of the disk and through holes. The edges of the first heated plate and the through holes are formed into rim-shaped planes on the different surfaces of the recessed surface and the convex surface of the uneven unit. The through holes come in contact each other and one heated plate unit-coupled body is formed by welding the inner peripheral surfaces of the through holes. The heated plate is connected as a laminated type and the outer peripheral surface of the first heated plate is welded, to form the heated plate block.
