PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly support a seat to a floor panel of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: The vehicle body is provided with a seat bracket 22 supported by a floor panel 17, and a cross member 27 positioned under the seat bracket 22, coupled with a side member 7 at an inner end part 34, and coupled with a locker 15 at an outer end part 36. The cross member 27 is provided with rear plates 29 and 30, and a bottom plate 31 to couple the plates 29 and 30 with each other. A bead 40 is molded to be extended in a length direction of the cross member 27 by expanding the bottom plate 31 upward at a middle part in a width direction. An opening part 42 to open an inner space 41 generated on the lower side of the bead 40 outward of the car body 1 is formed at an outer end part 36 of the cross member 27. A closing plate 43 is provided to be integrally molded with the bead 40 for composing the outer end part 36 of the cross member 27 to close the opening 42. This closing plate 43 is spot-welded with an outward flange 11 at a lower end edge of the locker 15.
