<p>1531510 Door fastening F C VAN HERPEN 19 May 1976 [21 May 1975] 20777/76 Heading E2A A door fastening comprises a U-shaped housing 8, the base 9 of which supports a guide for a rotatable pinion 14 coupled to a handle 2, and a closing plate 28 secured to the U-shaped housing and accommodating a sliding piece 33, which carries fastening members 3 and 4, and a rack 37 which through an elongate hole in the closing plate engages with the pinion. Rotation of the pinion 14 by handle 2 results in a movement in a longitudinal direction of the rack 37 and a corresponding movement of the fastening members 3 and 4 which cooperate with for example suitable openings 38, 39 (Fig. 4) in a section 40 secured to the door frame 41.</p> |
