Briquetted and pressed granules and their uses

Homogeneous pressed or briquette granulates are obtained from carbon black pigment(s) (I) and additives (II) by mixing (I) with (II) to assist processing, pressing or briquetting, crushing, separating into 2 or more fractions and taking the fraction with NOTLESS 85% particles larger than 80 mu m. Claimed homogeneous pressed or briquette granulates are obtained from carbon black pigment(s) (I) and additives (II) comprising: (1) mixing (I) with (II) to assist processing; (2) pressing or briquetting; (3) crushing; (4) separating into 2 or more fractions; and (5) taking the fraction with NOTLESS 85% particles larger than 80 mu m, preferably larger than 100 mu m or in the 80-2000 (preferably 100-1000) mu m range, as the product, and rounding if necessary and discarding or recycling the other fraction(s).
