<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the waiting time before TV broadcasting can be viewed even when an OS is yet to be started. SOLUTION: This electronic computer system is provided with a 1st controller and a 2nd controller connected to the 1st controller, at least a disk drive means, a displaying means, a television broadcasting receiving means and a sound outputting means are connected to the 1st controller, the 2nd controller operates while the power cord of the system is connected to the power supply outlet or while a battery is loaded in the system, and the 1st controller that is yet to be started is made to be in a PC mode in which the 1st controller functions as a personal computer by starting the OS or to be in an AV mode in which the 1st controller functions as AV equipment by starting AV function software in accordance with a command from the 2nd controller.</p> |
