PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material suitable for digital exposure, which can be processed rapidly in the development process and which can realize a print system with high image quality. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has following properties: when the material is subjected to high illuminance exposure in 10-4 sec, the ratio of the quantity of exposure light producing 2.0 optical density to the quantity of exposure light producing 0.5 optical density (defined as the exposure light quantity ratio hereinafter) is <=4 in the separation exposure through a blue filter, the exposure light quantity ratio for green light is <=8 in the separation exposure through a green filter, and the exposure light quantity ratio for red light is <=5 in the separation exposure through a red filter. After a 1/3 processing period of the whole color developing period has elapsed for the photographic sensitive material, exposed under 10-4 sec illuminance, a part of the photographic material where 0.7 optical density is obtained is subjected to a prescribed scratch test. After the whole developing process is completed, the photographic material shows <=0.8% increase rate of the density in the part subjected to the test.
