PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the pump discharge performance by providing a oil accumulator in a gear without utilizing leaked oil from high-pressure side to low- pressure side. SOLUTION: A central shield 5 and gear segments 7A, 8A of the gears 7, 8 are arranged between side sheets 2, 3 of a pump housing 1. And the gears 7, 8 are formed the cut recessed area 14, 15 around the bottomlands 7A2, 8A2, and the dedendum flanks 7A3, 8A3, and lubricates the area between the gear segments 7A and 8A and the side sheets 2 and 3 by oil accumulated in the cut recessed area. Hereby, the clearance for lubricating between the gear segments 7A, 8A and the side sheets 2, 3 can be made smaller and decrease oil leakage from a low pressure chamber 10 to a high pressure chamber 11 maintaining lubricating property by the cut recessed area 14, 15 and improved the pump discharge performance.
