<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulp molded article having high water resistance and barrier properties, biodegradability causing no environmental problem with disposal, and low in material cost, and to provide a method for producing such a pulp molded article. SOLUTION: This pulp molded form having high water resistance and barrier tendency is such that a biodegradable coating film 20 of polyester-based biodegradable plastic or shellac on the inner surface and/or outer surface of a paper container body 10. The other objective method for producing the pulp molded form involves forming the biodegradable coating film 20 by electrostatic powder coating method followed by heat treatment.</p> |
