PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively protect a thrust bearing for supporting an axial force, the damage of which is viewed with problem in a turbine compressor by machining a pressure attenuating groove on the outer periphery of a hub without varying the size and length of each blade which are important factors for adjusting the pressure ratio of each impeller. SOLUTION: This structure of turbine compressor is characteristically provided with an impeller comprising a hub 30a coupled to a drive shaft and adapted to receive a rotating force from a motor via the drive shaft so that it rotates, the blades 30b provided at a front surface of the hub 30a and adapted to receive a rotating force from the hub, thereby compressing an external fluid, and a plurality of uniformly-shaped pressure attenuating grooves 30c provided at an outer peripheral edge of the hub 30a and adapted to reduce an axial load applied to the impeller 30.
