PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE device which continuously operates without stopping even if a hard disk drive gets out of order. SOLUTION: This KARAOKE device is composed principally of a computer equipped with three external storage devices A, B, and C; and a KARAOKE database structured by aggregating many pieces of music data is stored double in the external storage devices A and B, a video database structured by aggregating a large amount of material video data in many classifications is divided and stored in the external storage device B and C, and a playing program which takes music data of specific music out of the KARAOKE database to output KARAOKE accompaniment music and also outputs video of a text accompanied by background video is stored double in the external storage devices A and B. The playing program performs video editing processing when neither of the external storage devices B and C is abnormal and implement a substitutive video processing if one of the external storage device B and C gets out of order. |
