PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, its control method, and a recording medium which hold an image forming condition, which is set by a user before state transition, in a power saving state. SOLUTION: With respect to an image forming device 100 which can be switched from a standby state to the power saving state and can be switched back from the power saving state to the standby state, the last image forming condition set before the standby state is preserved in a RAM 23 or the like. When a preliminarily set initialization time passes including the time of the power saving state after the device is set to the standby state, a controller 26 changes the image forming condition preserved in the RAM 23 or the like to an initial condition. An operation part control board 15, an LED/key switch 11, a touch panel 34, an LCD 35, a back light 36, etc., are driven by power supply from a power source part 31 even in the power saving state. |
