PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the connection reliability and repair performance of a connection member connecting the panel electrode of a matrix-type display device and a printed circuit board. SOLUTION: In a fixed area where the semiconductor chip 5 of a connection member 1 having a film-like base material 11, a semiconductor chip 5 fixed on the base material 11 and input/output leads 12 and 13 to which each of input/output pads derived from the semiconductor chip 5, is connected is fixed, at least one through hole 14 where an adhesive material 6 fixing the semiconductor chip 5 is infiltrated into the rear side of the base material 11 and is caked is disposed. A repair lead 16 branching the output lead 13 on the connection member 1 is led in a direction similar to the input lead 12 and is connected to the panel electrode requiring repair through the printed circuit board.
