PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain gutter capable of preventing the rain water from overflowing from a water receiving section to fall onto the ground or flowing around to the bottom wall of the rain gutter even if the water receiving section for receiving the rain water falling on the upper part of the front side wall of the rain gutter is blocked in a connecting part between a water collecting apparatus and a rain gutter joint by dust or the like. SOLUTION: The front side wall 2 and the rear side wall 3 are integrally formed from both front and near side ends of the bottom wall 1, and the rain gutter forming the water receiving section 8 on the front side of an intermediate section of the front side wall 2 over the length of the rain gutter is so constituted that weepholes 9 connected to the inside of the rain gutter from the lower part of the water receiving section 8 are bored in the front side wall 2 at a regular interval in the longitudinal direction of the rain gutter. The rain water received by the water receiving section 8 flows into the rain gutter though the weepholes 9 to drain it out, so that it is not overflowed from the water receiving section 8.
