PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt-molded product which is difficult to solve in water, but gives a good water solution. SOLUTION: This melt-molded product is prepared by containing a melt- moldable polyvinyl alcohol resin (A) and a saponified ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer (B) and has the mixing weight ratio (A/B) of (A) and (B) of 99.9/0.1-80/20, further, the ratio (MFRB/MFRA) of melt flow rate (A) (MFRA: a measured value at 210 deg.C with load of 2160 g) and melt flow rate (B) (MFRB: a measure value at the same conditions stated above) of 0.1 or more.
