PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the mixture of two kinds of fluid due to leakage of fluid in the passage port seal line part of plate units in a heat exchanger, in which a plurality of plate units each formed by laminating and brazing the two heat transfer plates. SOLUTION: In the passage port seal line 5 of the double-wall type plate units 10, each having the two plates laminated and brazed, spill ports 11 for the leaking fluid are formed in annular patterns for surrounding a passage port 3. The fluid, leaking from the passage port seal line 5, is allowed to escape to gaps g between the two heat transfer plates 1 and 2 of the plate units 10 from the spill ports 11. The fluid is fluidized in the gaps in accordance with a capillarity and finally discharged outside from the peripheral edge ends of the heat transfer plates. In the passage port sealing line 5, a leak fluid discharge annular groove 12 for surrounding the passage port 3 is formed. In the annular groove 12, a plurality of spill ports 11, which are made similarly annular, are formed. |
