METHOD OF RECOVERING HYDROGEN CHLORIDE FROM CHLORINE- CONTAINING WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method of recovering a high-purity hydrogen chloride, especially used as a raw material of an oxychlorination process for manufacturing dichloroethane and vinyl chloride monomer. SOLUTION: The refined hydrogen chloride is recovered by distilling a crude hydrogen chloride aqueous solution with oxidation-reduction potential of <=900 mV which is formed by the reaction of an acidic gas which is a combustion gas of a chlorine-containing waste, a reducing agent and water.
