PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of strength to be applied to a display device from the outside upon the panel of the display device. SOLUTION: In the display device in which a display panel 2 is arranged so as to be held between frames 4, 5 of upper and lower sides and a hole 9 for mounting is formed in the frame 5 of the lower side, a prescribed hollow 15 for forming a prescribed gap between the hole 9 and the display panel 2 is formed at the part positioned between the hole 9 for mounting of the frame 5 of the lower side and the display panel 2.
