PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material, having proper graininess and preservability in raw state, ensuring suppressed fogging and less liable to lowering of its sensitivity. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material with photographic constitutive layers which include blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on the base, at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one noncoloring mercapto or imino proton-free nitrogen- containing heterocyclic compound, containing absolute hardness value of 2.5-5.0 and developing no color.
