PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having both a face-up function to discharge paper with the type face thereof facing upward at the time of one-side printing and a double-side printing function. SOLUTION: A rear tray 64 at the rear of this device is formed rotatable, a paper guide 60 is formed rotatable, and the rear tray 64 and the paper guide 60 are formed openable interlockingly. An area surrounded by the rear tray 64 in the closed state and the paper guide 60 is used as a reverse route. Thus, when the rear tray 64 and the paper guide 60 are opened, a face-up paper discharging part is formed without being obstructed by a portion forming the reverse route.
