PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material, capable of stably giving a uniform image, even when the temperature and humidity conditions of exposure and development environments change. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material for development time of <=20 sec heat development time contains photosensitive silver halide obtained by grain formation in the absence of gelatin or in the presence of <=15 g gelatin per mol of silver and desalting through ultrafiltration, a non- photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for silver ions and a binder on one face of the base.
