<p>The workpiece table can be moved to and fro between two end positions. It has a rotating drive, which turns a partially geared wheel. The latter is connected to the table, and engages in a rack (16). The rack can be moved by another rotating drive, which is operated by a medium such as compressed air in order to be guided between two end positions, which correspond to those of the table, and which are limited by stops (53). The table has a device which acts upon the rack with a higher force at the start of the stroke, than during the remainder. The device may have an auxiliary rotating drive (40), which temporarily acts upon the rack at the start of the motion, with additional force.</p> |
