PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing electronic equipment having resinous substrates by which a bad influence caused by expansion and contraction of the resinous substrate during a manufacturing process can be reduced and higher quality electronic equipment can be manufactured, and to provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device having resinous substrates by which a higher quality liquid crystal display device can be manufactured. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device having a plastic substrate 104 by a process for forming pixel electrodes 112 on one of the surfaces of a glass substrate 101, a process for forming an insulating film 103 on the pixel electrodes 112, a process for forming plural TFT elements 1 and wiring on the insulating film 103, a process for applying a resinous material onto the surface of the substrate on which the pixel electrodes 112, the insulating film 103, the TFT elements 1, and the wiring are formed, a process for curing the resinous material and forming a plastic substrate 104, and a process for removing the glass substrate 101.
