PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for radial roller bearings, which can prevent the rollers from escaping outward in radial direction of the roller even when the cage is applied to a radial roller bearing whose roller diameter/PCD ratio is over 0.12, and has a small possibility of damage when the rollers are assembled into the pocket. SOLUTION: A part of column 3 of the cage 1 is deformed plastically to make protruded retaining sections 4. Total of the plastically deformed part A is 30% or more of the width W of the column 3. The protruded retaining sections 4 are provided on the outside of both sides of the column 3 in radial direction and extended outward in radial direction and along the curve of roller 10 (rolling contact surface), besides the protruded retaining sections 4 contact to the curve of roller 10 (rolling contact surface) from the outside in radial direction in order to keep the rollers not to escape outward in radial direction.
