PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent for glass fibers not causing blocking of glass fibers in case of remoisturing the wound glass fiber package, and further enabling to improve weavability by reducing the occurrence of naps, to provide glass fibers coated with dried material of the sizing agent, and to provide a wound glass fiber package of the glass fibers. SOLUTION: This sizing agent for glass fibers comprises at least one kind of starch, at least one linear sugaralcohol selected from the group consisting of tetritol, pentitol, hexitol, heptitol, octitol, nonitol and decitol in an amount of 1 to 15 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the starch, and water.
