PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a branch pipe (5) used for the refrigerant piping of air conditioning equipment, or the like, having a structure which is small in size and easy to manufacture, facilitating a piping design and hardly causing a deflected flow. SOLUTION: When a branching-side opening end (51) has three or more connecting ports (5a-5d), connecting ports (5a-5d) are not disposed in a row, bur rather are disposed at positions of constituting apexes of a polygon around the branching point (C), so that the connecting ports (5a-5d) are positioned around the branching point (C).
